Join us for an exclusive masterclass as we reveal the secrets behind Pedro Mandinga, Panama’s first artisanal rum distillery. Find out how we ferment pure raspadura (caramelised cane juice) and how we distil it in a copper still to create an exceptionally smooth rum. We’ll also talk about our techniques for infusing local organic products such as Geisha coffee and cocoa to create unique liqueurs. The Barlovento rum house was born of Jérémy Scoto di Suoccio’s passion for rum, which began during a trip to the Caribbean. It selects top-quality Guatemalan rums, sublimated in France with a know-how that combines tradition and modernity. Aged in bourbon, cognac and Black Scale casks, her vintages offer subtle balance and rich aromas. Winner of several gold medals at the Concours International de Lyon, its cellar master is meticulous at every stage of the production process, revealing authentic, refined rums.

Alexandre Gabriel invites you to an in-depth exploration of the 300-year tradition of Royal Navy Rum. This masterclass will immerse you in the techniques that have shaped these iconic rums, from blending methods to the subtleties of maturation.
You’ll have the chance to taste Plantation Mister Fogg Navy Rum Sail N°1, a 2024 edition that’s already sold out, as well as an exclusive preview of the 2025 blend. Alexandre will deconstruct this new blend, detailing the characteristics of each component and their influence on the final balance.
This privileged moment will give you a better understanding of the work behind the selection of the rums and a foretaste of Sail N°2 before its launch in July. A unique immersion in the world of rum and its expertise.
